Come and join us in a community vocal workshop, for an afternoon of fun and making music. Be you a beginner, or a seasoned singer, the workshop is designed for all abilities from age 16. Take the opportunity to explore your voice and learn its potential. No need to read music as we will be exploring and learning songs and harmonies by ear, in the 'oral tradition'.

The workshop will be delivered by three of the UK’s most popular contemporary singers: Sara Colman, Jacqueline Dankworth and Liane Carroll. The music of The Passion has no boundaries, other than the instrumentation – three voices and a piano. Sweet harmonies shape the form of the arrangements, be they jazz standards or popular songs. Get the chance to perform harmonies learnt in the workshop with The Passion at their evening concert!

Tickets are £18/£12 concessions (which includes the evening concert and a glass of wine or soft drink). Further information is available using our enquiry form or call: Angela Jackson Tel: 023 8025 3428   Mobile: 07729 818356

Join us for our next exciting workshop on Sunday, 17 October 2004 with Maestro David Jones from New York and Ann de Renais, Belgian Coloratura Soprano (former member of the Swingle Singers), both teachers of the Swedish/Italian method of singing. After studying with renowned teacher Alan Lindquest, David has been teaching throughout the US and Europe. His singers have performed at venues as famous at the Metropolitan Opera and New York City Opera, through to the Zurich Opera, Berlin Staatsoper, Vienna Staatsoper and at Carnegie Hall. Ann is one of his London-based students who has run, alongside David, a number of workshops in London. She has taught music/piano for a number of years. Check out: www.voiceteacher.com and www.annderenais.com on our links page for more information about their teaching methods.
